Each February since 2019, we have celebrated Black History Month. In this year’s feature story our historian writer, Debbie Neece, knocked this story out of the park. If you remember a few years ago, we wrote about the Tulsa Massacre’s 100th anniversary. That cover is still one of my favorites to date. We flipped it this year and wrote about Black Wall Street before the massacre and how it flourished as a city within a city.
